GENERAL INFO -Convention attended: Amelia Con 2014 -City: Fernandina Beach, FL -Location: Dealers and AA was located in a Rec Center, along with Media guests. -Set up time: 7-9am load in, 5-6pm load out (September 6th was the only day this room was operational.) -Contact Information: actualizedarts@gmail.com ARTIST ALLEY TABLE PURCHASE INFO -Type of Jury: FCFS -Important Dates: First year show, not sure what any of the dates were, I know the AA spaces sold out more than a couple of months before the show MONETARY INFO: -Total Cost: ---- $35 ---- 2 Badges were included ---- Local for me, so no hotel fees -Profit/Revenue: Very profitable. My second best show of that year, could have made more if I had brought more stock. -Company/Artist Name: Actualized Arts, I do beadsprites, amigurumi, and knit/crochet accessories. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: -Artist Alley set-up: 9 out of 10 -Staff helpfulness: Staff was great -Convention vibe: Upbeat and very into the con -Worth it: Absolutely! -Comments: First year show, but very well organized and mapped out. There were a lot more attendees than I think anyone anticipated. Pizza was provided by the con for the AA for lunch, which was awesome! There were also food trucks outside for attendees so they didn't have to leave to get food. Traffic was pretty heavy the entire time the Hall was open (10-5). The 2014 show was in early September, 2016 show will be in February and I will for sure be applying!
